COVER KIDS SEARCH 2027

We’re looking for kids with great smiles and bubbly personalities to appear on the cover of Kaua’i Family Magazine.
We’re excited you’re joining the fun of our Cover Kids Search!

ELIGIBILITY

The Cover Kids Search is open to Kaua’i County residents only. Children must be between the ages of 4 and 11 as of May 1, 2026 to be eligible to participate.

CONTEST PERIOD

The submission period runs from August 15, 2026 through November 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. HST.

HOW TO ENTER

Upload and submit a recent photograph of your child through the Cover Kids Search entry form.

Photos must…
• Be taken within the last three (3) months.
• Clearly show the child’s face.
• Be submitted in .jpeg format.
• Be no larger than 10 MB.
• Parents or legal guardians must complete the registration and submit the photo on behalf of the child.

ENTRY FEES

  • Individual Entry: $10 per child
  • Sibling Entry: $20 per submission

CATEGORIES

There are four Cover Kids Search categories:

  • Ages 4-5
  • Ages 6-8
  • Ages 9-11
  • Sibling Photo

FINALIST SELECTION & VOTING

  • The top 5 entries in each category will be notified by email on November 18, 2026.
  • Public voting will take place from November 20 through November 29, 2026.
  • Reader votes will determine the winning child(ren) in each category.

PRIZES

Winners in the three individual categories and the sibling category will each receive:

  • Be featured on a cover of a 2027 issue of Kaua’i Family Magazine
  • A professional cover photoshoot with the magazine’s photographer.
  • One high-resolution digital image from the photoshoot.
  • A PDF copy of the published magazine cover.

COMMUNITY AMBASSADORS

Winners agree to serve as Kaua’i Family Magazine Ambassadors and, when possible, participate in community and nonprofit outreach projects sponsored by the magazine.
